Corporate Overview

Emmy award winner and best selling author Christopher Lowell, dubbed the Doctor of Design by U.S News & World Report, believes that decorating is a form of empowerment therapy and that his mantra, "You Can Do It" is a way of life. He spreads this message in various ways - through his design shows, It's Christopher Lowell, Interior Motivesand The Christopher Lowell Show, through his books, Seven Layers of Organization, Seven Layers of Design, The Hassle Free Host, You Can Do It: Small Spaces and If You Dream It, You Can Do It, and through his array of licensed consumer products -- branded furniture, lighting, window coverings, and fully coordinated fabric and trim options - which help consumers take the guesswork out of home decor by offering concrete solutions.

Recently Lowell served as Executive Designer and Director of Shade Hotel, the first luxury boutique hotel in Manhattan Beach, California. Designed to maximize comfort and inspire relaxation while capturing the essence of coastal living, Shade has received accolades from the press including New York Times and Los Angeles Times.

An expert at smashing barriers -- especially those that stifle creativity -- Lowell offers ideas and provides inspiration so that consumers will have courage to create the house of their dreams, starting with design and decorating and expanding into cooking, flower arranging, gardening and other subjects. It's easy to see why Lowell earned a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Service Show Host for The Christopher Lowell Show, and several Emmy nominations for his series Interior Motives with Christopher Lowell and The Christopher Lowell Show.

As one journalist noted, his "signature humor, wit and charm" transform what might be a bland how-to show into a mischievous romp, propelled by an infectious enthusiasm. With his hearty slogan "You can do it!," Christopher motivates as he entertains.

Lowell, who's always a popular radio show guest, has signed with Envision Radio Network to host his own weekly syndicated program, The Christopher Lowell Radio Show that will launch in October.
